Contains PS(Phytosphingosine-HCl) which is a pro-ceramide with antiseptic properties which helps to restore the skin barrier. Aids in long term management of skin conditions. The alkaline pH may also be useful in other applications as determined by a veterinarian.

Chlorhexidine is a broad-spectrum antibacterial ingredient effective against common pathogens. Ketoconazole is an antifungal effective against fungi and yeasts (Malassezia pachydermatis). The combination of chlorhexidine and ketoconazole offers a broad-spectrum antiseptic activity. Phytosphingosine-salicyloyl also helps fight irritations.
